Narek Palyan, a local Nazi who appeared at multiple anti-public school anti-LGBTQ protests in 2023 and 2024 despite having no children at all, has shown up once again to violently harass students, along with several other known Leave Our Kids Alone (LOKA) anti-LGBTQ/anti-trans extremists.
Narek was spotted at UCLA on the evening of April 30th, 2024, when student encampments were attacked, without any apparent intervention by police and campus security who appeared to stand by and observe the assault. Safe Redlands Schools and several other extremist watch groups noted his presence outside of Royce Hall at UCLA.
Protect Glendale Project was among the watchdogs in attendance. These watchdogs have also spotted LOKA posterboy Manuk Grigoryan, who appeared "extremely drunk."
Palyan may look familiar because he was at GUSD in May and June 2023 with Jordan Henry, protesting the District's support for Pride month. He was also at the violent anti-LGBTQ protest at Saticoy Elementary in June 2023.
Last weekend and on multiple weeknight evenings, local extremist Mike Ancheta was spotted roving the UCLA quad, filming protestors and attempting to provoke violence.
A former MMA fighter, Ancheta is a frequent attendee of far-right demonstrations, typically appearing wearing gloves and with visible knives strapped to his body. Ancheta is alleged to have assaulted multiple individuals at past protests and has been heard making violent threats.
