GUSD is following state and federal laws.
School Districts cannot publicly comment on investigations involving employees or minors. FERPA protects student data.
FERPA requires schools and state and local educational agencies to keep the information from a student's records private and to get a parent or guardian's written consent before sharing it with anyone else.
Jordan Henry demanding at public meetings that private student data be shared publicly for other people's children is a direct violation of FERPA.
Why doesn't he know this? Or does he, and he just doesn't care?
